In celebration of Women’s History Month, Chevrolet will host a web chat on Tuesday, March 22 at 3p.m. (Eastern Time), with four women involved in the design, development, manufacture and marketing of the Chevrolet Volt, the world’s first electric vehicle with extended-range capability. Pam Fletcher, Teri Quigley, Britta Gross and Cristi Landy will discuss what it means to be a female engineer in today’s fast-paced environment and how the diversity of perspectives brings technology breakthroughs like the Volt to market. With Opening Day just a few short weeks away, here’s a post that couldn’t arrive fast enough.
The 2010 Building Diamonds and Dreams program, sponsored by Chevrolet and The Scotts Company, was an online promotion where fans of local youth baseball teams nominated their community for a chance to win a field makeover. Five winners were drawn from all entries and the winners chose the youth league of their choice to receive the professional field renovation.

Today we announced the expansion of the OnStar mobile app to a number of 2010 vehicles. The expanded list of 2010 model year vehicles includes the Cadillac DTS, Escalade, Escalade ESV and Escalade EXT; the Buick Enclave and Lucerne; the GMC Acadia, Yukon, and Yukon XL; and Chevrolet Avalanche, Impala, Suburban, Tahoe and Traverse.
