Starting last week, RemoteLink will be available to many more smartphone users. The mobile app, written using HTML5 technology, is now available in BlackBerry App World™ for BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 and 9930 users.

The RemoteLink app was conceived as a feature for Chevrolet Volt owners to remotely check the status of their vehicle’s battery life. From there, the idea grew to leverage OnStar’s unique connection to the vehicle, providing drivers with up-to-date vehicle information such as oil level, tire pressure, fuel level and lifetime miles per gallon. The app also offers users remote commands, including remote start, door lock/unlock and horn/light activation.

For fans of Cadillac CUE, today is an exciting day. Beginning May XXX, CUE subscribers will have the ability to take a virtual test drive of our extended CUE user experience thanks to a new Apple iPad application. On top of that, customers will be given a new third-generation iPad with the purchase of a 2013 XTS.

What will the application do? The CUE Training app will show many of the features and functions of the central display screen found in the ’13 XTS. Just like many of today’s popular tablets, the central display screen uses capacitive touch – it’s the first automotive use of the technology.

For those who purchase the 2013 XTS, their new iPad will come pre-loaded with CUE Training app on it, along with the MyCadillac mobile app and OnStar’s RemoteLink.

The CUE Training app is free to download and is currently available in the Apple App Store.
