Hmm....Just how many times can someone say Awesome in a single Podcast?

Thought I'd pass along an interesting article about GM. I think the article speaks plainly as to what GM's problem has been:

So I was in the subway, tunneling under the Hudson to Manhattan. I looked out at the gritty dark walls in the subway as the train screaches along. And what do I see? It was an image racing along with our train. It was a Hummer H3 and it continued along until it turned toward the window and headed toward us.

Cooool!!! These new marketing campaigns in uncharacteristic places are forward thinking, exciting and most important, memorable.

I hope the H3T is not far behind!!!

After the Sky, H3T, Solstice and Aura, its getting hard to sleep with all the anticipation.

Now I hear of the new Malibu and CTS waiting in the wings.

The free ride of the imports at the expense of GM will soon be over.

I just heard something that is going to make every mother, soccor mom and the dads that are married to them very happy, even the children might be smiling about this one.

Now I don't want to say exactly what it is because you will kill my post but let me just commend you on your new truck, SUV, and mini-van strategys that you might be planning in the future.

Do you have any idea how exciting this is????

Let me put it this way. I have no kids and am single but I am already popping the cork about what GM might do from the ground up in producing what might be a new minivan.

If you can remember Toyota's foray into minivans with the ill-fated Previa. Now they have the world class Sienna. Now I know that Saturn, for example can take the Relay beyond the Sienna (if that is what your planning) and leapfrog its current generation to achieve world class functionalty and leading edge design a la the Aura and Sky.

This is significant because minivans are the family vehicle equivalent of oxygen. And we all come from families.

And let me just plug one more thing in here. Cadillac's art & science design language is so far advanced of Mercedes and anything out there. All the BMW's, Lexus'es or Lexi?? and Infiniti's seem to be going in circles with there designs, it's almost pathetic.

Keep up the good work and I may become your #1 fan!!!

Surprisingly good podcast from the guy that produced Disneyland's 50th Anniversary 'casts!

Greg Cangialosi gave it a real "Backstage" feel that balanced well with the intended message.

The Pontiac Solstice is awfully hot too... ;) Can't wait to see them in Amsterdam!

Commercial Podcasting is an idea whose time has come, good to see GM getting on board!

Todd is right!
Greg is amazing as usual and the GM just took a ticket for the future.

Actually it is more than a "commercial podcasting"... it's a sort of "entertaining commercial"... I love the idea very much. Especially when such high quality content is provided to us listeners ;)

I am Sorry guys, but NONE of the new Pontiac and Gm products light my bic (excite me).
How about we clear staff and reorg to get some cars that are:
A) Fun to drive
B) Great to look at
C) display some status and pride to own.
Other comments?

I agree with Brian. For some reason I've always been a GM loyalist (don't know where it came from, probably corvette's and camaro's). But today what do you offer for a 25 year old male with means to buy a car for around 30K? I know you hate hearing it all the time but Mustang right now is about all there is, but it wears the wrong symbol. And just so you know about the only cars that really interest me right now are the entry level luxury that I could afford but just don't want to drop that kind of cash, BMW 3 and CTS (even though it has 4 doors). I would love a rear wheel drive Monte Carlo!! But I have a company Impala I like so want a fun second like the solstice or maybe, later, Sky.

Keep up the good momentum we are hearing about.

"Mazda says that the 2006 Mazda MX-5 two-seat roadster, equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, will be priced from $20,435 when it goes on sale this fall."

That's only $500 more than the base Solstice...better keep the dealers from adding markups or GM's gonna be eating golden goose pate.

BRIAN!
The Solstice is the sharpest
look PONTIAC has had since
the 60'S.

The price is fantastic too.

How can you say that this
is a boring year!

Wrong!

Kudo's Mr. Lutz! I would expect no less from a former Marine.

Semper Fi! I look forward to driving the Solstice.

Yes, Pontiac is hip and cool by having podcasts and hiring rock bands to promote their cars. Gag me.

I bet if I traced the I.P.'s from users comments here, half of them would be from detroit.
